In my personality test I was an Adventurer. Their career idea of an adventurer is a musician or a photographer but that doesn’t grab my attention as much as being on an adventure in the woods or at a job. One of the Career that I saw there website was traveler. This caught my attention. This is something that sounds interesting because I am passionate about what I do and at the same time curious. Talking about being passionate about what I do, I think that an internship on interpreting or law would be the best fit for me because one, I would be passionate and two, I like to help other people that are a minority and need help. By being an adventurer I can also explore different kinds of internships and get experience on different kinds of fields. I myself think that I would be open to explore new things that don’t involve being at an office or reading and writing a lot. I know that I said that law was one of my options and I know that takes a lot of writing and reading but what I like about law is that there is a lot of challenges and you need to know many things like your rights or the constitution. There are many things that you get from it also. For one you get good pay and second you get to help out the community you grew up in. In interpreting, you mostly interpret the conversations that you are asked to interpret but sometimes you write the conversations to give the client a copy or you write the hours you do. That is not as much writing as law but it is still something.  In the end, I like to adventure but outside or on jobs/internships I know about or some that would work.

What I learned from researching different companies is that they all have a different style of work and that their environment all depends on the job. For the law companies, it looked like they were all just serious and hard working but for interpreting they have to speak and be nice but they have to be serious and say the same thing the two persons are saying. For me the process of looking for an informational interview was easy because I knew that law my main goal and my teacher had an interview with them. Something that was difficult was revising the email plenty of times because you have to be the most professional you can be and also you have to be on your email a lot checking if they have answered and respond as fast as you can. One thing that was and is exciting for me is waiting for a response from the employee and also just knowing that you have the opportunity to do what you want and get experience. Something that is scary about this process was getting rejected or not getting an answer because if then I will have to get another interview in an area which I may not like. One thing I really am going to like is that we are going to talk to people that are in “the real world” that have passed college and are now working. Something I am really going to hate is talking on the phone because I am not a very social person only with the people I know. One other thing I am going to hate is asking questions because I am the person that doesn’t like to get helped. In conclusion, I love this informational interview because I know that it is going to help me in the long run.Its going to be scary but I am going to get through it.

We have been working on our exhibitions for one week and I have decided to present on Tuesday December 3rd. I feel nervous because we are presenting to a big group but I also feel excited because I am not going to be the first one to go but not the last one. I feel like a big factor of presenting my exhibition is going to be presenting in the middle because I am going to be able to see how my other peers do it before me and I am going to see my other peers present after me. In my presentation I want it to be good and interesting. I also want to be able to go up and present slowly and clearly because I know that I am going to present bigger things in college. Something I would be proud of when I look back at this exhibition is seeing the things I have done and have accomplished. One more thing I would like to complete in this exhibition is explaining my work.

In my internship I always wanted to be at least the slightest interest in it and I feel like in this internship with PJ, I will be interested and also I will be able to learn some new skills involving tech. Something else I look forward to during my internship is seeing the community you are surrounded from and how you have to manage your time efficiently. Something I am not looking forward to is to come in on Saturdays in the morning. Something I am worried about is not going in on time or things that come out unexpectedly and not being able to do 40 hours. I think there are going to be a lot of things that are going to help me do my internship but there are going to be a lot of stuff that is going to try to prevent me. I think that my teacher will be a great help in helping me stay on track with my 40 hours. One thing that might hold me back is that the class might be out of control in which I can not concentrate and work. One more thing that I am looking forward to in this internship is to make a new mentor and new friends. I know that PJ works with a lot of teens and I may not know all of them. I feel like PJ is going to be just the right person to work with because he is funny and also gets stuff done. He also builds a unique relationship with each person.

To be honest, I have not gone to my internship. I have been busy in the mornings with different things in my life. I was going to go this Saturday but I think I have to come for Saturday school which provides me more help in the classes I am failing. I think that I will at least go for an hour or so just so I can officially start. Ivé wanted to change this internship for some time now but I haven’t found any since I thought I had one that I would be able to do. I feel if I actually get the time I need and have really good communication with PJ, everything would work out. At the end of the day, I feel like PJ internship is going to work out and I am going to finish my internship in time with the 40 hours completed.

Once again, I am going to be talking about my dream blog. I think I have done this prompt before, but why not do it again. I think to start off, my dream blog would be about cars. Not just any cars but classical, speedy cars. I would write about which one I would get if I had the money, what the best engine is for a car, what wheels there are on the market for special events. I would write about all the modifications I would put in the car like turbo and NOS. I would also talk about the color I would like it to be and the different shades I would put around it. Sorry im getting off topic but in my blog, I would post about 3 times a week but it wouldn’t be a long post it would be around 75-100 words per post. I would also make the background my favorite cars and on the sides I would have like wheels or something like that. I feel like the post would be a very small post that only some people know about but the community will be very active with me and giving me advice on what to write on. Something that I always wanted to do if I ever had my own post is go see new cars and do reviews on them. Those reviews would include the looks, how well it’s built, and the speed of the car. I would also test drive the car to see if I like it and if it is one prospect to buy in the future. In the post i would put my dream cars which are a 2002 Toyota Supra, 2018 Ford Raptor, and also a certain type of luxury car that I would use every single day. I might also buy a family car so my wife would take my kids were they want.

This past week in my internship, it was really fun and calm. I got here at school around 9 and started to work on computers. At first, it was me and PJ only. After some time, 2 juniors and 2 sophomores  came in and started to work on different projects. The project I am working on right now is an electric bike. I am fixing the electric bike at my house and any parts I need I can just tell PJ and he said he would buy them for me with the budget that he has. When I first got the bike I started to look into it but I couldn’t find the problem because there were so little parts and so many wires. During the week I stopped working on the bike and I started doing more homework and doing scholarships. When Saturday came again, I worked on it and found some cables that didn’t work so now all I have to do is tell PJ to buy all the wire and wait for them so I can change them and make it work. I am doing this bike project so I can in some way use it for my senior defence and make a presentation on why it is better for the world pollution problem or something along those lines. Something that I really enjoy about working in this internship is that there are a lot of students that can help me when I need  the help. Something I am also starting to work on is a project that involves crypto currency and how I can make a machine do when people pay with their cards at the store, my project can transcribe the public key with the customers safe key and I get a little money for doing that.
